Hattie’s garden at Lane End Cottage is full of wildflowers, and these are the ones she loves pressing most. Now you can grow a little patch of her garden at home.

This cornfield mix of cornflowers, poppies, corn marigolds and chamomile flowers in its very first summer, bringing a splash of blue, red, gold and white to your garden. The flowers are perfect for pressing, picking for a jug on the windowsill, or simply leaving for the bees and butterflies.

What’s inside

  • Approx. 3g of cornfield annual wildflower seed, enough to sow about 1m²
  • Packed by hand in a glassine envelope with a Little Bramley label

How to sow

  • Sow in March or November, on bare soil in a sunny spot
  • Scatter the seeds and rake in very lightly. They need light to grow, so don’t bury them deeply.
  • Keep the soil moist until the seedlings appear
  • They also grow well in pots and containers, so there’s no need for a big garden

Perfect for

  • Stocking fillers and little extras
  • Anyone who loves flower pressing (pairs beautifully with Hattie’s Pressing Kit)
  • Gardeners, nature lovers and pollinator-friendly gardens
  • Tucking into a card or letter

Please note: seeds are not for eating. Keep away from children and pets. Store somewhere cool and dry until sowing.

UK delivery only: we can only post seeds within the UK, as they can’t be sent abroad.
